WTF1?! – The temperature inside The Great Pyramid remains constant at 68 degrees F, the same as earth’s internal temperature.
WTF2?! – A planetary alignment between the Orion belt and the pyramids of Giza will take place at…. that’s right – 21.12.2012
WTF3?! – The Great Pyramid is located at the center of the land mass of the earth. The east/west parallel that crosses the most land and the north/south meridian that crosses the most land intersect in two places on the earth, one in the ocean and the other at the Great Pyramid.
WTF4?! – Precession of the Equinoxes: The sum of the pyramid’s two base diagonals in Pyramid Inches = length of the Precession of the Equinoxes (25,827 years, which comes to an end at… that’s right – 21.12.2012)
WTF5?! – If the height of the pyramid is taken as the radius of a circle, then the circumference of this circle is the same as the perimeter of the base. This provided the complimentary squaring of a circle and circling of a square. The key to this relationship is knowledge of the value of Pi and designing the angle of the pyramid to be exactly 51 degrees, 51 minutes, and 14.3 seconds.
C u 2morrow!

I loved the WTF categorization! I especially liked WTF1 and WTF3. While every sort of conclusion can be reached by random associations, these are almost spooky 🙂 Quite fun!
WTF!!! really amazing facts !!
Thanks for checking out my blog. Namaste,
Beth
WTF!!! 🙂
good stuff to know. great post!
WTF indeed – maybe that should be the name of your blog.
Wow, I love stuff like this, keep it coming!!
Really? Some of that was too much math for me to take in but … really?
Wow… This really makes me want to celebrate 21.12.12 in Egypt!
The facts are all interesting, but to be honest, the first one is the one I find the most shocking. I would think that it was deathly hot inside the pyramids. Very cool fact right there. Cool post too!
wow! I didn’t know the exact temperature, all I know is that inside the one that people is allowed, the air is so steamy! I couldn’t stand it! But they are gorgeous! And I felt so little beside them lol
Really nice facts about the pyramids, pyramids and Egyptian culture is always been a subject of great interest for me. Thanks for posting. 🙂
Hi
Many years ago, I read a book on the Great Pyramid that was first published in 1881. It contained so many interesting things. Here is a paragraph from the book that appears in an article I wrote on the Tower of Babel:
“During the previous centuries no one managed to find the inner chamber of the Great Pyramid until Caliph Al Moumon, who upon finding no treasure, planted his own in order to placate his crew of weary diggers. About the year 1000 A.D. the Caliphs of Egypt stripped the polished white casings of the Great Pyramid, which were then used to build mosques and palaces. What made the stripping easier was a great earthquake that shook the casings loose (Smyth 1978: 19-20).”
Smyth, P. [1880]1978 The Great Pyramid. New York: Bell.
As you can see the book was republished in 1978. It’s a good read.
I’ll put my hands on this one, 10x 🙂
WTF!!! Awesome F-ing post 🙂
Wow I had no idea about #2. That’s pretty freaky. I look forward to more posts from you. 🙂
Very cool! I feel so wise…
Amazing – clearly the pyramids were not just used as burial chambers 😉
Great stuff to know, loved it! (I especially was interested to find out, not so much the 68-degree internal temperature of the Pyramids, but that Earth’s internal temp is 68.)
I second that!
Amazing facts, gives you a sense that God has it all under control. cheers Graeme

Love it! Facts without clutter! Keep’em coming please!
Interesting but having been to the pyramids I can tell you that part about it being 68 degrees inside does not seem to be true–I have a distinct memory of seating our asses off in those tunnels!

Hi, I love it! I remember so fondly being inside the great pyramid with a friend of mine – we had the great chamber to ourselves for a whole 15 minutes. I felt really privelidged, visiting the pyramids was a longstanding childhood dream 🙂
